Compare a photo of people from the 1950s and a photo of people today. What is a big difference? clothes Of course, fashion always changes. But the customs of dressing today are much more liberal than those of the past. Before the 1950s, there were more rules. People wore formal clothes more often. Outside the house, men wore skirts and hats. Women wore long dresses or skirts. They covered their heads with hats and their hands with gloves. Today, people dress to be comfortable. Short jeans, t-shirts and sportswear are very common. Some people even wear pajamas when they go shopping.
Linda Przybyszewskt, professor of history at the University of Notre Dame, says that people today have forgotten how to dress. I'm surprised how often I get cut off somewhere on the street or in a restaurant, and only see a handful of people who seem appropriately dressed. and even less droseed beautifully says Przybyszewsk
Przybyszewski decided to make a third comment on the problem that in the past schools had to teach children to dress properly. After these curses began in the first grace and continued through the Prybyszewski group in their own class. She introduced her students to fashion from the 1920s to the 1920s. Her students were able to learn about the new beauty of clothing. The styles were
Przybyszewski later wrote a book entitled The Lost Art of Dress. In it, he described the old rules for dressing well. For example, before the 1960s, formality and appropriateness were very important. At that time, people dressed formally much more often. They were dressed for formal settings such as weddings, the office and religious institutions. But they also dressed formally when they went to a restaurant or even to the supermarket. Many farmilles even dressed up for dinner at home! The dress code was more conservative in that jeans were appropriate only for physical work, t-shirts were only underwear, sportswear such as shorts and running tents were only worn on the sports field.
Will Przybyszewskt be successful in changing people's attitudes about clothing? Actually, a look around her classroom shows that she has already had some success reading students took fantastic!

Vocabulary: Transportation Problems 2
My class pointed out the correct words in the paragraph.
We thought it was going to be a very bad vacation. First of all, we had mechanical problems with our car. It wouldn't start. So we took a limo. But we had an accident in the limo. A car hit the back of the limo. It wasn't very serious, but it made us late. So we missed the train. We didn't know what to do. But the ticket agent told us about a boat. It could take us across the lake to the airport. It wasn't fun. We all got seasick . But we got to the airport on time. But there were too many passengers for our flight. We got bumpedfrom the flight. Then things got a lot better. The airline paid for us to stay in a great hotel. They paid for a wonderful dinner. We went swimming in the hotel pool. We watched a good movie in the room. And a limo took us to the airport the next morning!

TRANSPORTATION PROBLEMS
Hello everyone! Well, I'm back from my trip. Last week my husband and flew to Boston, took a cruise ship to Quebec, took a bus to Montreal, and then flew home. Sounds like a dream vacation, right? Unfortunately my dream turned into a nightmare!
You won't believe what happened. First, our flight was delayed. The airplane had mechanical problems. We waited at the gate for two hours. After we finally took off, I closed my eyes for a nap, but sleeping was impossible, There was a terrible storm, and the flight was bumpy. It was pretty scary! tried to watch a movie to stay calm, but the entertainment system wasn't working. The movie didn't have any sound.
The plane landed in Boston at 4:00 PM-three hours late. Our cruise ship was supposed to depart at 4:30! We ran to a taxi. My face was bright red from running as I gave the directions to the driver. "Please hurry." added. Luckily, we arrived just in time. We didn't miss the ship!
We stood on the ship's deck and enjoyed the scenic views. However, the awful weather continued got seasick Earlier, my face turned red from running On the deck turned green from the ship's motion. I was seasick the whole cruise
What else could go wrong? A lot! Our bus to Montreal had an accident. No one was hurt, but we were delayed for an hour. Two days later our flight home was overbooked. We got bumped from the plane and had to wait for the next flight As you can guess. I'm very happy to be home. However, I still have one big one
problem. The airline lost my luggage Most of my clothing was in my bags, so now I have nothing to wear Are you looking for a relaxing vacation? Then have some advice for you-you should stay home!
Questions and answers from the text above:
1 The plane landed in Boston at ? 16:00, three hours late.
2 Why was the flight delayed? The plane had mechanical problems.
The following is evidence of each classroom experience, the wonderful moments of sharing with one's peers and the power of absorbing the teacher's knowledge.
We will see clearly from the flight of an airplane, to the places in a building, to how to place and say the right words so that the sentences you write have a logical structure to express yourself in a better way. It is excellent in how our teacher gives us the class and the patience in how he takes to explain to us.
As a result of the holidays, this report is terminated until further notice, but when we resume classes I will tell you about my experiences during the course, although I already really want to go back.

GRAMMAR OF SUPERLATIVE ADJECTIVES
Superlatives in English are formed with the adjective in the superlative degree, that is, those ending in -est, which have the adverbial structure the most/the least (the most/the least) or the irregular ones that have their own superlative degree, for example, the best (the best) or the worst (the worst). The objective of superlative sentences is to express, objectively or subjectively, when something has an insurmountable characteristic that makes it stand out from the rest.
It is important to underline that to form this type of structure you always have to put the article the (el/la) before the adjective:
For example:
Pedro is the weakest student in the classroom.
My brother is the tallest in the house
That breakfast was the most delicious
Ferrari is the most expensive car on the market.
Michael Phelps is the best swimmer in the world.
Which projector is the cheapest of these three? this one is cheaper than this one is super expensive.
I usually tip a total of 10 percent depending on the serviceMy brother is the tallest in the house
That breakfast was the most delicious
Do you tip? Yes, sometimes I tip when it's good service.
In which countries is it customary to tip? in Australia and Austria.
You shouldn't take that flight, you should take a taxi.
